7.30 Report on straw bale houses

This was interesting, on the ABC's 7.30 report.

Ah yes.. thanks for the link.
Down towards the bottom though, he states the house was in fact clad in fire-proof magnesium oxide ..

.. give me a good earth-render any day.

I agree with Andre - This is not a strawbale house - it's a framed house using straw as an insulation. Not at all sustainable.
